    If defects aren’t corrected prior to coatings, they can be made more prominent inadvertently by the intensity of a paint enhancement package. Our ceramic coatings and PPFs will protect AND amplify whatever is secured underneath them; therefore, paint correction should always come before any protection coatings.

Paint Correction Package Process At EuroCars Detail

Exterior Vehicle Surface Inspection

The beginning of the process starts with our team inspecting the entirety of your vehicle’s finish for any defects in paint. This allows our auto detailing crew to then determine what parts are actually defective and what can simply be washed away. This first step is important as we want to make sure every defect is caught and corrected.

Hand Wash and Paint Decontamination

After inspection, your vehicle will be washed thoroughly by hand to remove any loose and easily removed surface contamination. Using a two-bucket hand wash, we make sure every surface is spot-free before starting corrections. This step also includes our well-known clay-bar decontamination to rid your ride of microscopic particles of contamination as well.

Light Abrasion with Cutting

Starting the automotive paint correction process, our team will begin cutting using both compounds and light abrasion. This stage will remove the bulk of the surface defects from your vehicle’s clear coat, being the main and most restorative step in automotive paint correction. Any defects that remain will be handled during the next stage.

Surface Buffing, Polishing, and Jeweling

In the final stage of paint correction, our team buffs and polishes the newly corrected areas of your car, truck, and SUV’s exterior. This takes away any haze in your finish left behind by cutting with compounds and improves the glossiness of the paint to give it a deep shine.
